When I read the rules to Six, I thought, "Well this game is going to be easy. All I have to do is make one of three winning forms before my opponent." The game's concept is simple but game play is subtle and sophisticated. Actually, I won without realizing it for three turns. I also really liked that one play does not last too long (especially for a strategy game): about 15 minutes. The design of the game is attractive and the pieces are very nice in look and feel. Though this is not a travel game, it is very portable. I played with some friends in a cafe and even, covertly, during one of my classes!

I got SIX based on an enthusiastic recommendation from a European friend who likes strategy games and who is aware of my aversion to lengthy and complex games.
Six is turned to be an excellent strategy games that can be learned quickly and played in a relatively short sessions.
It can be played on two levels, basic and advanced, by 2 or 4 players.
It is well made, easy to store, and beautifully designed.
It¿s now one of our family¿s favorite games.

Just played Six for the first time. An excellent game. Smart, simple, addictive. Hint: Play by the expert rules for a truly mind bending game.

I was introduced to Six while I was on an university exchange in Europe. I am very excited to see the game is now available in the United States. Six is a great simple strategy game with quick game play. I can tell you those qualities are rare in a strategy game so Six should have a wider appeal than your average strategy game. I think this game would make a very nice gift. I would sure like to receive Six (if I had not bought it already!) under the Christmas tree.
