The name of this game hits home with teens. Smart Ass entices teens to participate in this family trivia game!

This game is one of the best ice breakers ever for family gatherings with multiple ages starting with tweens on up. When was the last time a teen in your household wanted to play a board game with adults? Well, here's your chance to exchange a little trivia with each other. The questions are hard enough. They are not too hard for wide number of ages, but have enough challenging qualities to have fun especially with all the configurations of "Smart Ass" dumb **, hard ** and the like. You can imagine the laughter that goes on with a large group. Your group can play it informally (without the board and with numerous participants)or more traditionally with the game board. We have always played it informally with either a designated card reader or by taking turns reading the questions. There are plenty of hints and everyone yells out the answers, and hopefully everyone gets a few..but remember there is a Smart Ass in every family and it just might turn out to be you!

    Pretty fun trivia game

If you like trivia and don't like board games that drag on forever, this is the game for you. I felt that the trivia was easy enough to be enjoyed by teens/young adults, yet challenging and entertaining enough for adults. In large groups it is better to play as individuals rather than getting into teams. When and if playing in teams you may have to adjust the rules a bit as I don't recall seeing any rules set of for team play. The game goes rather quickly so if you want hours (or even one hour) of entertainment you may want to play more than one round of the game. Even if you are not a trivia buff you still have plenty of opportunity to win. There are several questions to the answer and the questions get easier as you go.

    Fun at lots of levels!

Prepare to get loud! What a smart and fun game! It is a race to see who gets the answer, as all players play at the same time - but, careful! Each player only gets one guess!

As a family we love this game!

It is very educational and at the same time a lot of fun! My boys are ages 9 & 11 and this game fits perfectly well in their knowledge base. It is a great game for the entire family. There are some hard to know sbjects but overall it is quite interesting!

    Could not stop playing!!!

My family and I played this game on my mom's birthday. We started around eight in the evening and could not stop playing until 11 pm! Very simple rules and easy set up and clean up. I was drawn to buy this game because you can have as little as two players. We usually play Cranium but it was nice to have an individual game where everybody is playing every round and an odd amount of players is not a problem.

    Smart Ass is fun

Smart Ass is a fun game and we play it for hours. It is a real good party game when you have friends over and gets really funny. It is worth the price I paid for a evening of fun and laughs.

    Great Family Night Game

It is hip enough for the kids and has the ability to still not shut out the old timers (us). And everyone will learn something, trust me they will!

Great family/friends game for the adults!

Fast-paced trivia games for the "older kids" in the family. Wide variety of topics, not as dry or long as Trivial Pursuit. Gotta love the name!

Best Trivia Boardgame we've played in a long time.

I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. It has been a big hit at our family gatherings, as well as with his teenage friends. My husband is blind and can't play a lot of board games, but loves this one when the family gets together for game night. Grandson also loves it very much.

    These questions are no joke.

This is a fun game-if you know a lot of general trivia. I'm 15 and whenever I play with my 18 year old brother and my dad, it's basically a game between just them because I don't know anything! There are a lot of questions about geography and people from the 1900s. I wouldn't recommend this game to ages 14+ as the box recommends because someone that age probably wouldn't know the questions asked in this game. EXAMPLE OF ANSWERS: Bud Abbott, Hoover Dam. They're not even funny questions.

Fun, challenging game for any group

We played this game with a group of 6. There were various ages from 21 through 54. We felt that we could all compete and have fun. One couple liked the game so much that they made a special trip to Barnes and Noble to buy their own!!

A knowledge game for all ages

This is a great game for family get togethers. The name might put you off, but it really is alot of fun. It can be a quick game too, which makes it more fun to play and the questions are for everyone.

    Not worth it

My 12 year old and his friends played this once and didn't like it. The boys would much rather play Quelf or Loaded Questions. The name of the game made some of them uncomfortable, and they thought the questions were dull.

    Lots of fun

We enjoyed it as a board game, and also played it in a large group by taking turns asking the questions (without the board game part). It was a lot of fun and sparked some good conversations as a result.

    Great family game!

Fun game for all ages - games don't last too long which is great for younger players. Learn and have fun at the same time.

    lots of fun

This is a fun, fast paced game. My children (ages 17-27) love playing it with their friends, but it is just as much fun as a family game! Sometimes it goes so quickly that we extend the game to two trips around the board. The questions vary in difficulty and scope so everyone can join the fun. Definitely recommend this game!
