    Highly Recommended

Grandchildren come to us, with parents, every Christmas. All 4 LOVE Lego's . The 3 boys loved the Motor Works. There are Lego pieces all over each and every table in the house. The NEW ones as well as the ones from previous years. They do them over and over again, enjoying the making of them every time. They liked the fact that the Smithsonian Motor Works was a little different than the other ones they have done.

    A good learning tool

The engine parts were plastic and my daughter had to scrape off some of the edges for the pieces to fit together. She also had a problem with the exhaust valve. The parts would not stay in place and we may have to glue them in place. Otherwise the model is a good learning tool. My daughter learned the names and functions of the parts as she assembled the engine and prepared it to work.
