I bought tow for Christmas gifts and know they will stay as Christmas decorations as an additional benefit.

This is a fun, simple wooden toy. You just stack the wooden pieces to make the snowman. If your kid is like mine, she will lose some of the pieces. I recommend this for ages 2 to 5. It makes a nice Christmas gift, also.

My sixteen month old grandson loved playing with the snowman stacker----I love having a decoration that doubles as a safe toy for him.

Young and old enjoyed rebuilding the snowman - with so many decorations that could not be touched this stacker was a favorite. Excellent quality wooden pieces.

This little gift ended up being one my granddaughter's favorite. Proves that the simple old-fashioned toys are still the best!

I bought this stacking snowman on a whim and my 19-month-old grandson played with it more than any other toy at Christmas. For him it outranked toys costing ten times as much. Highly recommended for the child who could grow up to be a builder, architect or engineer.

Found this at our E. Texas "Barnes and Noble" when I was shopping for Christmas books for our grandchildren. If you bought two books, you got this at a really deep discount, so I did. Love it !!! Big thick, chunky, colorful pieces of a wooden snowman that slide onto a dowel to create a wonderful figure for adults to enjoy and children to play with. Very creative idea and of course, if it is by "Melissa and Doug", you know that it is a quality wooden toy. They are so famous for all their wooden puzzles, wooden food items, etc. It is creative, functional, and fun....and a great deal.

We have a center-in-residence for toddlers. Luckily it snowed the day after this came, since we don't like to put things out for them that they have no reference for. It's great but even one of our parents had difficulty assembling it in the logical order. The kids are enjoying it though.

I really bought this as a house decoration for the holiday, but I've been amazed how much my 2 kids like to play with it. My 2 1/2 year old son likes to take it apart, roll the pieces around on the floor and then very carefully put it all back together. It's very durable and the pieces are all big enough to have around with an infant. Another great low-tech Melissa & Doug toy.
