    A Hit with a teen!

Our oldest grandchild just turned 16. He's a good student and involved in sports at his school and he's also a typical teen. Buying games and toys for the little ones is easy and still fun for us, but finding something to satisfy and challenge a teen who is half-way through high school and pretty well "knows everything" already has become much more difficult, esp. for grandparents who don't want to see the kids with their noses stuck to a screen and their little fingers flying across a keyboard constantly. So when we found this at the book store, we grabbed it. Fortunately, chess is another "hobby" for the boy and Grandpa likes it too. It was opened and played immediately and we even developed a "contest" by passing around the plays to see who could solve the fastest. It turned out to be a hit and I'm pleased to hear that all the snow days and additional time off from school have given extra time for this "game" to be pulled out and played quite a bit.
