    Tangram Master is a winner!

For Christmas, I purchased the Tangram Master for my cousin's four boys, two sets of twins, aged 12 and 14. They loved it! They were engaged, interacting as they helped each other solve the puzzles. When the grandparents saw how much fun their grandsons were having, they had to join in, too. I highly recommend the Tangram Master for all ages.

    Awesome Game

Ever since I was a child I have enjoyed playing with Tangrams. Now with this game, I can enjoy them and compete with them all at one time. The colorful wood pieces are nice to have and are durable. The book that comes with it is also very interesting because it provides a history of the tangram and an introduction to playing the game. The book also has 200 different puzzles with varying difficulties for all ages to attempt to create. This is a great find!

    I Also Recommend:

    Tangram Master

This is a highly recommended book which is based on the monumental treatise "The Tangram Book". The original work gives a full history of the puzzle, the essence of whicih is captured here in attractive modules. What sets this volume apart from its predecessor is the inclusion of four finely crafted wooden sets of the puzzle, with supreme tactile quality Thus one can enjoy solving the numerous puzzles presented, alone or with competitors, while musing over similar endeavors of enthusiasts of another age. For more about the author Jerry Slocum and his other books, see my review of "The Cube".

Great for young and old alike

I bought this game for my 70 year old mother to occupy her time and to try and keep her mind sharp. It turns out her 8 year old grandson loves to play this game with her. They compete against each other to complete the puzzles. They both love it.
