This is a great game for kids from age 10 to adults. The idea is to draw a simple object on an erasable pad and pass it to the person on your right. That person writes down what you drew and passes it to the next person. That person then draws what person #2 wrote down, and so on until everyone gets a chance to draw or write. It sounds simple, but more often than not, you end up with a drawing that is entirely different from the original. Just like the game where you whisper a sentence into someone's ear, and by the time it goes around the room you end up with something very different. Only with drawings, it's a lot more fun. You have to try this game to understand how much fun it is. You will not be disappointed!

I bought this game for my niece and nephew who were turning 11 years old. They called me with excitement the next day to thank me for this present - they have played and had lots of fun. The game is simple in its idea but is very funny and is enjoyed the most when you have more than 4 people playing, kids and adults alike. It is based on a principle of a broken line: what you see is not what ultimately turns out to be... It is recommended for ages 13+, but my 11 year olds enjoyed it a lot. Precisely because the concept is quite simple it is accessible for younger ages as well. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Telestrations combines the game of telephone with Pictionary as players take turns drawing words and then guessing what people drew. Points are awarded if the last guess is the same as the original word and for the best drawing (though sometimes the people I play with award points for the best guess). The game comes with wipe-off drawing pads, so it is difficult to run low on supplies. A very fun and fast-paced game. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. My wife and I bought telestrations while we were on vacation, going to our daughter and son-in-laws. When we got to their house we played it and played it and played it some more. When we got home we had the rest of our family all over and we played it all evening 3 or 4 different evenings. Our grandsons love the game, they are 8 and 10. It just makes a perfect, fast paced game filled with laughs for the entire family. It gets you away from the TV and the ipods and all the other stuff that gets in the way of family time. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This is my new favorite game! We bought it for a family friend for Christmas and we all loved it instantly! I went out the next day to buy it for myself and my brother is buying it tomorrow because he loved it so much! There are non-stop laughs and it is amazing what people come up with based on drawings. This may in fact be one of the best games ever! My whole family loves playing games and we have already played this one four days in a row! I HIGHLY recommend buying it!!!Was this review helpful?
