    Great Toy

    The Cranky the Crane set is another wonderful toy from this line. It is easy for little hands to operate. Glue a small piece of metal to the top of a few blocks and you can add to the fun.

    Cranky is pretty cool, but unstable

    I really was excited about having cranky be part of our addition. It was going to be my son's 2nd birthday gift. When I received it I took it out to look at it and realized that it doesn't actually connect to the track. It only sits by it. The concept of cranky is great, but not what I had in mind. I never did give it to him, and found a different cranky that can connect to the wood track we already have. It is much more stable and our 2 year old loves it!!

    Cranky the Crane

    If your child likes Thomas the train, he or she will like Cranky the Crane. Cranky is easy to work. The crane swivels from side to side as well as the magnetic "crane" moving up and down. Definitely a fun toy, great for eye hand coordination, and creativity. The flat bed car along with the Sodor box comes with the crane. It is definitely a wonderful addition to the train set or is often used alone to lift a load to other trucks, boats, or wherever the imagination can take it. This toy has become a favorite.

    Exciting but short lived.

    My son saved his money for this. He was very excited to get it. It's been about two months and it has now been lost in the sea of toys. It did not hold his attention for long. If you are adding this to a Thomas table it may be better but as a stand alone toy it was not worth the money.
