Tin Tea Set

The set is adorably packaged and has almost everything (no spoons) you need to have a tea party. My daughter discovered that if she blew through the opening of the teapot, she can use it as an instrument. Unfortunately, the paint started chipping. Even though she wasn't using it for the reason it was made to be used, I took it away because I knew she'd put it in her mouth when she was pretending to drink tea.

this is an adorable tea set for children, maybe under 8. for real or play, children will love this!

Great gift!

This tea set is perfect for my nieces birthday presents. It comes with a really cute lunch-box ready to store the cups, saucers, plates and tea pot! What little girl wouldn't want to sip tea (or milk, or punch) pouring for each other, and eat a sweet snack from the little plates. They'll spend lots of time and imagination playing with this durable, sweet set.

Great little set

I got this for my nephew who is two years old. My brother at first was taken a little aback thinking it was too feminine, okay, to be more genderless it could be less pink, but the set is really great and most important my nephew really likes and uses it. It is not made of porcelain so it can't break. There are two plates, cups, and a teapot. My nephew loves to give pretend coffee or tea. Maybe someone will come out with an unbreakable tea set that isn't pink, but until then this one will do for both girls and boys.

Tea Anyone?

I bought this for our 2 year old grandy girl. I love that the pieces are made of tin, as opposed to china, that can break. My daughter's only concern was: if the baby chews on this, will it be toxic as it came from Chna? This I could not answer. I did not see the lass chewing on it, so didn't worry too much. our daughter liked that it all goes into a cute little suitcase to stay tidy and haul around. My only complaint, is the top of the tea pot does not stay on when the child goes to 'pour" you a cup of tea. Other than that, it is adorable, affordable, and I would buy again.

We loved it!

The tea set was a gift for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday and she loved having her "tea party". We've enjoyed many hours of serving tea and talking with her stuffed animals - excellent for make-believe - loved being able to see her enjoy pretending much the same as I did as a child. Sturdy carry case (looks a lot like a lunch box)enables her to wag her tea party along with her everywhere. The cups, saucers, tray and cookie plates are brightly colored and the pattern is nice. Note: The pieces are rather small - but fine for little hands.

Does This Bring Back Memories... or What?

This tea set of tin takes me back to my childhood. What memories! Now, you can see to it your children get the same opportunity you had. It's a lovely way to pass on fond memories. This is a very nice, colorful set that's sturdy and the carrying case keeps everything so neat and tidy.
