My daughter received the book as a present and loved it! Unfortunately within 3 months one of the buttons was not working and within 6 months the whole book stopped working. Now it only makes sounds when you turn it on. I contacted the company, but have not heard anything for them and it has been 3 weeks.

The product itself was very good. My 4 month old albeit a little young in my opinion to start using this was still intrigued by the voices and the sounds as well as the colors of each page. But, we did have one problem with it. Two of the animals wouldn't make a noise, even though the tool itself was touching it. We ended up returning the product to Barnes in the store, but the store couldn't exchange it.

Lovely book, but not for the price listed
Also last two pages: one with birds singing and another with music is not what expected. They should have add other animal sounds there

Bought this book for my grandson who is 13 months old. The biggest smile lit up his face when he heard the very first sound the cow made and each animal in the book. He is a book-lover already and this is a BIG HIT. The book is well made and brightly illustrated. This adorable book will be used often. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Good cause-effect toy and beginning book exploration. I have used this book with a variety of children and most seem to enjoy it although it is sometimes hard for them to get the butterfly magnet positioned just right to activate the sound.

I bought this book for my newest grandchild. His parents have already had a lot of fun sharing it with him. It is very easy for a child to enjoy the sounds.

When you get this book, you must make sure that every page is working. It is not enough to turn it on and check the first page or two. I did that and thought my book was fine. Turns out, one of the pages toward the middle is broken. I did not find out about that until 90 days after purchase because I bought the book when my baby was born and then tried to use it when she turned 4 months. The online customer service would not help me because the purchase was over 30 days old. Had to go to the store and talk to 2 managers before someone would help me. They have said they ordered me a new book for an even exchange that would arrive in 4-7 days upon which they would call me to pick it up. It has been 10 days and no phone call from the store.
