I really enjoy playing traditional checkers, and I have to admit this variation seemed like a great new game to me. At first you are constantly worried about losing a piece down from chance, but soon aggressive playing overcomes the risk. My only complaint is that one of my 'random' spinners doesn't seem to spin as well as the other and it takes about 9 screws to get in to oil it. Also sliding the trapdoors is sort of clumsy sometimes and pieces will slide around on the board from the jerk. Play it how you want and I was happy to make my own rather than follow the instructions included, for the most part.

Overview
Checkers has been transformed into a game of cunning and luck where kids can beat their parents. On each turn players spin to see if they either move, or open and close trap doors. If your checker is on one of the trap doors – look out it might fall through.Internationally acclaimed, this great game will be a favorite in your game library for years to come.
