This toy has a mixed review. It is a lot of fun but also frustrating

Designed for indoor use, this remote flying helicopter has some forgiveness in the design when considering it will be bumping into furniture, ceiling fans and walls. However, it is not as durable as a parent might like. The rotar blades are made of very thin and cheap plastic which is impossible to repair with any kind of glue (I tried Gorilla glue and Instant Crazy Glue) once broken. If there is even the smallest break in the blade, the whole toy is inoperable- try explaining that to your kid. Also, the internal battery which needs recharging after just four minutes of flight is not removeable. I would have gladly paid a little more to have two batteries or more that I could slip in and out of the helicopter. For every four minutes of flight, you have to charge the helicopter for twenty minutes. I bought htis item twice because my son enjoyed it so much and both times the toy either broke a blade or the internal battery was defective and after three uses wouldn"t hold a charge (the helicopter was hovering at about six inches from the floor). With all of this said, it demonstrates wonderfully and for the short time it is charged and not broken, it really is a wonderful, fun, exciting toy. My husband and my son were taking turns and I even jumped in. It's relatively easy to control- a knob slides up and down to control the height and another small joystick directs it. Prepare to buy this item twice if not more.
