    A teacher's perspective...

I am an elementary teacher who works with children ages five through twelve. I bought this game to use with my students. They encouraged me to write a review of the game to let others know how much they have enjoyed playing it. I have adapted the rules a bit to make it easier for my youngest children and more challenging for my oldest. My students all speak Spanish as their first language, and this game helps them learn new English words while practicing phonics and spelling. I am always happy to find a game that helps my students practice their skills while also having fun. This game certainly fits the bill. This game can be played as is to challenge children in the recommended age range, and easily adapted to challenge children of many age and skill ranges.

    GNU

This is a great game for early learners. My daughter is 5 and GNU is helping her recognize so many words. We sometimes just take out the tiles and try to make up 4 letter words too! She loves it!

Great way to learn words or reading

My 5 year old loves this game. A bit hard at times but it helps her to learn her words.

    What's Gnu

Fun and educational! Bought for my 6 yr old. He understood it-but was a little slow to figure it out.
