My son got this for christmas and loves it he just turned 7 it helps him with spelling and thinking of new words but it is in a fun format! His 11 year old sister played it for the first time yesterday and also had a ton of fun. His little sister helps us roll the dice and pick the letters so she has fun too! thanks for a great game

Both of my children (age 6 and 9) love this game. It's good for beginning spellers and those who are great spellers. The only downfall is that it is a time consuming game. You have 10 die with letters on each side and you have to come up with a word with any number of the die. You have to start over with new die at each turn so it's not like Scrabble in that fashion. My 6 year old sometimes gets bored before the game is over because of the time it takes for people to try to come up with a word. Overall, I recommend the game.

I bought this for my son who, at 9 yrs old, seems to not want to have anything to do with a game unless he can plug it into his DS. He loves this game! It is a great pre-scrabble game. I remember getting so frustrated when I was younger with Scrabble as I just couldn't find words to use on the board. This is created so you don't have to have the words directly connecting to get to the treasure chest in the center. Plus we are so competative in this family the bridges and walls create a fun game. I highly recommend this game for all ages. it may be a quick game for the older kids but it ands up as a quick game to play best 2 out of 3?

Overview
Build bridges, acquire land and block your way to the pirates’ treasure, matey! Players roll letter dice to build bridges of words and use rock walls to block their enemies’ paths all in an effort to make their way across shark infested waters in order to be the first one to reach the pirate loot.A great family game.
For ages 6 -10.
