    I disagree!

I bought this game based on the reviews and because I love to play word games. I think this game is just okay and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. The game is slow & the rules are a bit confusing (is taking an additional tile a reward or a punishment?) The game is rather boring. The font on the letters, while interesting, is hard to read. I would not choose to play this game over other classic word games like Boggle, Scrabble or Quiddler.

    This was a fun game

I purchased this game on a whim for a dollar at Barnes & Noble. I am very happy with my purchase. At first I thought, why is it only a dollar? Is this going to be a boring game? But the game was fun.My kids and I really enjoy it:)

Fast fun game, but needs a turntable

This game is very easy to learn and plays fairly quickly. Only two people can play at a time. It would be very helpful if the game came with some kind of turntable (we ended up using a tray), but realize that the packaging would have to be a lot larger. It was fun for adults who like word games and also would be good for children to practice spelling and vocabulary.

    Fun- Easy- Educational

I bought this game because I love word search puzzles. I found it easy to play and really made me think as I looked for words to cover. Good buy! I would purchase again.

WordSpot is gentle and surprisingly clever

WordSpot is nice for when you need a quiet game and your brain is not up for Scrabble or crosswords. I bought it for the old-style graphics, and was pleased to find it more interesting to play than a regular word-search game. Scoring is simple to the point of not feeling like scoring, which can help when you need to avoid competitiveness.

    Good Game

This is a great game for a family. Different ages really don't matter, nor do different levels of word knowledge. Its fun and challenging for every one.

    Great game for word lovers

My dad bought this game for the whole family to play during our Christmas gatherings. We have played, with different pairs, throughout the weekend and are repeatedly challenging someone to play. I liked it better than Scrabble and would recommend it to anyone who loves a challenging, but fast paced word game.

    Impromptu Game Night

My wife bought this for my birthday last week - I laid it out on the dining room table for a quick tutorial. Really easy to learn - 2 minutes max. The kids were passing by the table, and they jumped in, trying to find words. Next thing we knew, a 'game night' broke out. We played three or four times - it's a quick game, and shuffling the tiles makes for a new game each time. We had a blast. Now, I leave it out in the morning, and see how many words the kids have found by the time I get home. Very cool concept!

Good Take on a Word Game

My friend got this game and we played. It is a word game with some interplayer strategy. The strategy is what makes it a fun game. I'd recommend it for nongamers and gamers alike.

    Takes me back

I run a family owned print business and my wife picked up this game thinking of the old printing days when my Dad used to use letterpress blocks. She saw the cover and knew I would get a kick out of it. I thought I'd add it to the old print memorabila collection, but it ended up being so fun, I had to leave it out at the shop for the workers to enjoy. Fun and easy game. Never the same game twice!

    Fun for all ages!

Wow, this game was a real find. My mother in-law is losing her sight and the larger play squares were great. Now my 8 year old can play Word Spot with grandma!

    Fun and Easy Word Game

Our family really enjoys this game. It was easy to learn and it's easy to teach our friends. Our daughter, who's 8 is better at finding words than I am. The game is beautiful and we're planning on giving it as gifts.

Scrabble Meets Word Search - Great Game

I love doing the Word Search in the newspaper so this game caught my eye in the Barnes & Noble store. Took it home and it's AWESOME! Fun and Simple. We play over and over. Big hit at home with the kids.
