Players must resolve 60 logic-puzzles using animal pieces (cats, dogs and mice) and food pieces (fish, bones and cheese). In order to avoid chaos, players may not place an animal beside its favorite food or beside a rival animal. Hungry ants, angry bulls and fierce dogs are also introduced in more advanced puzzles.
A fun game of logic with escalating levels of difficulty allowing children as young as 5 years to start playing and adults who like logic puzzles asking for more!

This is a solitary logic game that can be played, initially, by a 3-4 year old. My son of 4+, did not want to leave the game. At a certain point when I looked over at what he was attempting to solve - I must admit I was impressed, as I thought it was a bit difficult for his age. The rules are really simple. For each puzzle you get a unique grid pattern on which you have to place predetermined set of animals "cats dogs and mice" and their favorite foods "fish, bones and cheese" You cannot place the cat beside either a dog or a mouse and you cannot place an animal beside its food. Depending on the complexity of the grid pattern and the number of objects to place the puzzles range from very easy to quite difficult. When I joined in with my son, he had advanced quite a bit without any help from me and was placing the pieces quickly and with what I would consider sound logical thinking. This game has a similar logic to Soduko but is more fun to play and the gradual increase in complexity allows players, especially young ones, to gain confidence in applying logic while having fun. Towards the end I must admit I struggled to find the solutions and my son was quick to point out mistakes in my logic. Although it is a solitary game, I had great fun playing with my son. My husband also loved it and was humbled by the last puzzles as well. A great game!

Zoologic is a lovely mind stimulating game for younger children. My daughter is only 4 and she is halfway through the puzzles. She made up little stories about the cats and dogs as she tried to figure out how to place them. It was really adorable. I think her ability to be creative as she played a logic game is proof this game is a winner!

When my wife wanted to buy this game I initially wasn't very excited about it. Just another simple game that is not going to teach my daughter much or be used after three months - I thought to myself. Well, I was wrong. The game has about 60 puzzles, gradually increasing difficulty to the point that some of the last puzzles are not easy to solve even for an adult.
We have been playing the game many times and we've had a lot of fun and excitement playing it. I would warmly recommend it to anyone having 4-6 year old kids.

What a find! This is a logic learning game suitable for very young children. Degree of difficulty increases gradually, my kids love it and are learning nice observational skills and thinking strategies through playing it.

I loved the game when I first saw it and spent a good deal of time with it during my winter break a few years ago. I loved how the difficulty builds up as you get more and more into the game. I don't have young kids of my own, but I gave Zoologic as a gift to some friends and colleagues who do. Did their kids ever love it! For example, just over the last two weeks I was twice introduced to children as "This is Polina, the one who gave you that game that you guys couldn't put down, remember?" The kids really do get into it on their own and in groups. How many other tough logic-building games can you say that about?
