To enhance the sound of the device's speaker, a small recess has been engineered into the lining of the back panel. A debossed logo on the inside front cover adds the finishing touch to this masterpiece. Stylish accents include a mirrored plaque on the front cover, a deboss logo behind the device holder, and a nickel-plated jewelry logo at the bottom of the back cover.

    Love it

    I just got this cover yesterday and am in love with it. It's lovely leather, soft and such a nice color. Perfect for me. Love the pocket inside, big enough for a cleaning cloth and notes if need be. Did not plan on purchasing this cover, but I'm glad I did.

    Stands up

    I've read some of the negative reviews of this cover and I just don't understand. My husband bought the cover (and the NC) for Christmas for me. It is now Memorial Day and the cover still looks great (and Bob got it for me because I am a bit of a klutz and travel on business a lot so he wanted something to protect my NC). It has never looked "plastic", hasn't cracked (and I carry it to work every day and have left it in the Texas heat this month twice) and holds my helpful handout from my Nook class and I clip my stylus on the inside of the spine. I admit it looks a lot like a dayplanner but it works wonderfully for my NC. Guess it proves you can't judge a Nook by its cover.

    Professional and stylish

    I just love this cover. Got it today, and it did not disappoint me. Its rich and luxurious looking. My Nook looks quite secure and comfortable sitting inside it. I love the inside pocket for my cleaning cloth. I highly recommend this cover.

    Disappointed

    I really wanted to love this cover, but when it came in the mail, I was quite disappointed. The edges were crooked and the front and back cover didn't align properly. If I'm paying this much for a cover, I'd expect better quality. Although I would have to say the leather is nice, the cover does add a lot of bulk and weight to my nook color. Shame on Barnes and Noble for not having better quality control over the products that are manufactured...

    Great cover - beware Nook "help desk"

    I love the cover but beware if you take your Nook in and have the Nook "help desk" put a glare screen on the device. The store I went too uses a voided gift card to smooth the screen. The card is written on in black marker and the marker rubbed off onto the Nook while the guy put it on. The marker has ruined the inside of my cover.

    Beware

    customers are having issues that the cover is fadeing the silver frame for the tablet.. just an aware.

    I Like It!!

    This is my second cover, my previous one was pink...pretty but gets dirty very easily. I keep my nook color in my purse, so this cover works perfect!!!
