    This book changed my life.

As a former Neiman Marcus employee, I was already 'into' fashion. But after reading this book and fully participating in the work suggested, I realised that I was still missing something. I was unprepared for my actual work-day in the real world, because I had never given myself the appropriate wardrobe. Now I have the things I really need, for the life I actually have. My wardrobe is one tenth its previous size, but I wear everything I own! Thank you Malcom and Kate!

    This book opened my eyes

This book has made me see myself (and the world) in a totally different way. After reading the book, I have found that I am much more accepting of the person I am (and have even found that I'm pretty decent at that!) Kate and Malcolm's book has helped me to look inside myself and find a pretty neat person. It was an entertaining and very informative read -- and this is coming from someone who has never read a 'fashion' book before. It made me realize that how I dress definitely reflects my mood and feelings for myself and others. After completing the steps, I found that I am an empowered person on the inside and all I have to do is have faith in myself to let it shine through to the outside as well! I am able to go shopping now and look for clothes that truly reflect how I feel about myself ... empowered, confident and sincere! This book is informative and entertaining. It gives 'shopping' novices a place to start when it comes to what to look for and how to find what works for you, and it gives interesting stories of people that we can all relate to! I highly recommend the book. Take the time to give yourself the gift of self-empowerment!

1 Step to Fashion freedom is to get this book.

If you are like me you have tons of clothes and only wear a few of them. On many occassions I have purchased clothes on a whim and never end up wearing them. After I developed my Style Statement I went shopping with a new perspective on Me and clothes. I no longer shop for what is HOT, I shop for what is me. Thanks to this book, I am now developing a true Waredrobe full of clothes. All of my clothes are starting to 'go together' because they were all purchased with my Style Statement in hand. I am creating a 'look', one that is a look of my own.

    I recommend this book

'I'm not very interested in clothes and certainly not interested in fashion. But a friend told me this book is about image and that I would enjoy the stories in it. She was right! This is a book about how our image affects our lives. I highly recommend it!'
