10 From 6 means ten songs from six albums -- namely, Bad Company's first six records, all of which were big hits on album-oriented rock radio. This brief yet very effective collection gathers all of the group's best-known songs ("Can't Get Enough," "Feel Like Makin' Love," "Shooting Star," "Bad Company," "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy,"

Sure, some may say that this CD has every Bad Company song any fan could ask for, and I agree, it's a great compilation, yet it is very dissapointing. It's called, "10 from 6", which is supposed to mean 10 songs selected from the first 6 Bad Company albums. However, there are no songs from "Burning Sky" included on this compilation, so it's really more of a "10 from 5". It also dissapoints me the fact that there are no other Bad Company compilations other than this one and the anthology. Bad Company needs another "Best Of" compilation.

Where's "Burnin' Sky?" That song is still an FM staple more than 30 years later, and yet remains absent from this collection. In fact, since nothing from that album appears here, it's really '10 From 5'... just make your own mix.

These ten songs are each fantastic, and at the end of the album I find myself sad that it's over. For real Bad Company fanatics, I recommend The Origional Bad Company Anthology. Otherwise, all the major hits are here, and each one is wonderful. This, combined with Boston's debut album, is THE definitive hard-rock album. There is not a flaw on the disk, except maybe brevity.

a good compilation, however, am I crazy? I swear, I can't find a cut off "Burning Sky" although it is titled "10 From 6" maybe "10 from 5" would be a better title. no biggie, but I just checked it out and that what I found no matter, a great band and sorely missed by me

If you're like me and believe the definitive Bad Company album was the self-titled 1974 release, then this is the one to buy. All four FM radio hits from the first album are here, plus Shooting Star and Rock and Roll Fantasy, and a sample from the other 1970's albums. This is the very best of Bad Company.
