    No Nonsense Tips for Down to Earth Moms

    This book is great if you are a mom who needs to pinch pennies. It tells you when the stores like Old Navy and Gymboree do their markdowns, so you can get great stuff at rock-bottom prices. There are easy suggestions for making things at home, and websites that give you coupons for free baby stuff. All of these tips would be easy to implement. A great for first-time moms and experienced moms alike.

    Waste of time and money

    I bought this book b/c I everyone told me I HAD to by the 'Baby Bargains' Book. Well, after skimming through this book and talking to my friends, I realized I must have bought the wrong book! This book is great if you have all the time in the world to sew your baby's bibs out of old t-shirts, make all of your own baby food, oh, and stitch together your own breast pads. REALLY??? This is the real world, and I not only do not have the time for these 'crafts' but I don't want my baby (or my breasts) wearing rags either. I bought this book hoping that I could actually get valuable tips on the best products to shop for at the most economical prices. There may be some other Baby Bargains book out there that does that--but I assure you this is not the one.
