This book contains many wonderful recipes, and also gives you great tips on stocking your pantry, with recommendations on where to purchase items that may be hard to find where you live. It does not really call for a lot of exotic ingredients, as do so many other disappointing cookbooks I've found in the past. Wish it had a better nutritional breakdown and more guidelines as to serving sizes, but combining this book with a food scale can give you most information you may need to track your low carb intake.

I have found this book very helpful, it was recommened to me by my dietiian, I was on insulin and with the help of this book I am now off all diabetic medication. It has many receipes and information about spices and foods you can find on the market that are low in carbs.

1001 recipes, but the 28-page sample didn't show even one. The front matter appeared to be scanned in rather than true ePub format. Trint was tiny & if you adjusted the size, you would have to scroll back & forth to read it. It may be an excellent cookbook in paper, but DO NOT get this one for your Nook!!!
