This book will open you eyes to so many foods that are and are not good for you. Dave Grotto helped me during a bout with breast cancer and since my last treatment last Feb, Im feeling great with a clean bill of health. Do I contribute this to healthy eating?? Absolutely!! Dave showed me so many foods out there that I never tried and told me how to make them and how to read the ingredients labels. Alot of the things he told me are in the book. Buy the book and you wont regret it!!! Eating some the of the same foods you already eat and adding some that you have never tried. How fun!! Thanks Dave.

This book is full of information and is put together brilliantly! I love the recipes that accompany the food, not later in a separate chapter. The information on the food is extensive with its history, where its grown, home remedy, recipe, tips on selection, storeage, prep and serving suggestions, food lore, and much much more depending on the food. If you are looking for a nutrition book this one is a great tool...and a good read! Yes, a good read if you like history.
