Years ago my daughter and I were at the general store at the University of Texas at Austin and we saw this book. She was about 13 years old at the time and I was working on my Library Science degree. We laughed about the book because her current favorite food was Ramen noodles. She said that she wanted the book for when she goes to college. We didn't purchase it at the time, but as we are approaching her graduation I have become nostalgic and I went to Barnes and Noble and ordered the book for a gag graduation gift. When I gave it to her we laughed together and read the recipes, many which sounded delicious. She was delighted to have the book and set to work trying some of the recipes. I had a second laugh when I realized that she was wearing her favorite T-shirt, "Top Ramen, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner".
The book has a plastic cover and is spiral bound so that it can be opened and laid flat. It does not have many pictures, but the recipes are easy to follow and clear. I have learned that Ramen noodle texture is an art form and it is very personal based upon the preferences of the consumer. All of the recipes do make allowances for texture preferences, and it is truly possible to eat well on a Ramen noodle budget.

101 Things to do with Ramen

I counted all the recipes and there are 101 of them. The book must have 2-3 on a page or with pictures. I might get one of the other books in print after looking at it first.

A few of the recipes in this e-book are the same but meat added to one and not the other. Another was the same with different kinds of cheese.
