A Short, but Interesting Read
Picked this one up a couple of days ago and have already finished it. The best part of the book is where the author deals with Patton and some of the interesting characters from the war during this time. The oral history of the men on both sides is nicely woven into the tale. The narrative was great, but it needed more maps. I found it hard to follow with all the division numbers and so forth. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Having that said, my grandfather fought in the 82nd Airborne in the Bulge and it helped me understand some of the things he might have went through. For that, I am extremely grateful to the author.
