You need to cuddle up with a blanket and just linger with this book. You will be inspired and challenged to discover and live in The Magnificient Obsession. Why do are we content to just "be" when we could truly live a life of meaning with eternal destiny? Read The Magnificient Obsession and find your passion and obsession. Hopefully it will lead to more of HIM - Christ our Lord. Vivian

the magnifficent obsession is a very remarable book writtion by anne graham lotz she has taken the inspirational life of abraham so that there are other alternatives in life to being empty. so many people even famous personalities their faith for one reason or another has been let down and they are hurting and life has given them a bad turn and this inspirational bestseller gives you some straight awnsers were you can open up the Bible and be fullfilled once again and wont have to be emptied more. this would make a great book for a Bible study or a gift for a friend or for someone who might be hurting or for a library or for your clergy member who might want some sermon material

I found the book inspiring and helpful for my spiritual life. Anne Graham Lotz wrote from her heart and gave personal and practical examples. Studying Abraham's life is so useful today.

Anne does a great job of breaking through religious perceptions by showing the vulnerability of the bible heroes and how they too had to struggle for a while, how they continued to grow through adversity and be shaped by their deepest errors. God became someone I wanted to begin to know as a friend and master in my life. Further, Anne provides a transparent view into the thoughts, emotions and daily struggles we all have. No one can encounter this book and go away unchanged or without discussing it with others. Hopefully, YOU will discuss YOU with GOD as I did.

I love when highly respected authors like Anne Graham Lotz balance their Biblical insights with candid, vulnerable stories extrapolated from their own sometimes painful stories! Anne goes beyond her questions into how she grappled with them to find the answers. Her passion for Jesus is as evident in this book as it is in her speaking! It's also just as contagious! Anne gives solid proof that there isn't a more worth-while obsession than pursuing the One who died that we might live! It's a joy to follow Anne on her journey. She keeps us company. She helps us set our priorities straight. For the sake of changed lives, I hope a lot of people make it their priority to read this book! Cheryl Ricker
