I make many items with out a pattern or alter a pattern to
fit what I have in my mind also to make another size. many times
I need an idea of an edging to use.
the first 45 pgs, are color pictures of trims/edgings. each is numbered 1-150. and has a name.
from page 48-97. the trims are numbered.the page the larger picture is on, with information on skill level, thread[s] used, and the pattern.also how too's are given for difficult stitches used.included are button holes.
from page 100 there are projects, how too's for buttons, all crocheted and covered, ideas and how to attach trims to bought or made items.
from page 112 there are 'freshers' on basic crochet, equipment, how to measure for guage and blocking.
index in the back as well as american and english terminology. great if you obtain patterns from england or vintage as many used english patterns

150 Crochet Trims
I have been crocheting/knitting for 35 years and very often while making blankets, etc. do not like the recommended border. This book enables you to change the border and/or add trims/decorations to your work. Great book!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. It's alright, but there are better books out there.
This book has some neat designs incorporating beads and such, but I personally think it's lacking where other books (such as the complete book of crochet border designs) excell. Definitely not the best out there, but for a beginner in crochet trims and borders, it could be useful for learning some simpler ones. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
