I have read all seven books.  This one, the seventh, is the last available, and its ending simply leaves the reader hanging.  Apparently there is no eighth book to wrap all this story-telling up, which is extremely frustrating considering the costs involved in purchasing this group of books and expecting an ending.  While interesting, I found myself many times thinking to myself, get on with it!  The author belabors and repeats some much that it becomes distracting.  So, how do the people of Pierce Point and the State of Washington fare?  WE DON'T KNOW!

It’s better than usual prepper fiction. Love it or leave it. This one is a bit smarter than usual, so enjoy it for what it is. if you make it this far, you may as well ride it out.

    Great series

7th book in this series. Enjoyed the first six 1/4 the way through this one and it is as good or better than the others.

    Another great book!

This is the 6th book in a 10 book series and it only keep getting better! This book remains centered on Grant and Pierce Point but we are beginning to move outside of Pierce Point a bit as the militia begins to build. If you like-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it fiction, then you will enjoy these books. The story line is realistic and does not go over the top. The characters are believable as well.

Great cliff hanger at the end and I can't wait for the next one to come out! Over all an entertaining read.

    Imperfect Protagonist Exposed

I have really enjoyed this series thus far. Fairly realistic, this series has impressed me with its character development, pluthera of background story, and political commentary. I have appreciated the libertarian outlook at this possiblefuture. My only criticism would be the occasional double standard that the author, characters, and other readers sometimes miss. Overall, very good!
