Read this (180 pages) on my nook in about 6 hours- the whole time WAITING for something to happen. The first couple books were great, then they declined. After book 6 I thought "no way, I'm done". Now after wasting $10 on book 7- I am done. In case you were wondering- NOTHING happens in this book. I'd say 90% of it is thoughts and reflections, very little if any action- it's all posturing for what will happen, probably in the next book, or number 9. At best, this should have been the first half of the next book released. That's the last $10 you're getting from me- should have stopped at #5. In short- the book has gone over the deep end with politics, then takes a turn and chases after "The Turner Diaries". Don't waste your money.

    Awesome, again

Glen Tate has done it again. Another great thoughtful book from a master of dystopian future.

    Well thought out

I have read different series of books, this one is the only one that deals with only a partial collapse, This is more inline to and economic crisis that would likely occur, thought provoking

This will be the last one in this series, very unhappy

Compared to the others in the 299 days series it was boring and found myself having a hard time to finish reading this book. It feels like Mr. Tate needed money and wrote this book over w weekend.

It was not interesting and some points was unbelievable.

    Another one is great

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. There were some unexpected plot twists and plenty of reflections/introspections, as mentioned unfavorably in a previous review. All in all, I found this book to be a great continuation to an already great series.
