Writing book less than 300 pages Very quick read that is meant to be used as a reference. It uses stereotypes to help define female and male characters. It goes into their personalities, motivations, fears, how they can be villains, and supporting characters. It also delves into basic journeys for the characters and further discusses supporting characters. I could see myself using it to help in defining my characters, picking a supporting character’s personality, and I need all the villain help I can get. My advice as with most writing help books is to borrow it or read a sample before buying it. Your mileage will vary with it. I have not utilized this book to help in my writing to date.
