I was surprised at how well this book works. I have a 27 month old son. I went from struggling to get him to sleep for anywhere from 30-60 mins and then having to wake up with him every 2 hours on average (sometimes as much as 3-4 times a night), to getting him to bed in just seconds and not having to get up with him at all. It took just 3 days by following the plan in this book, and now he sleeps 10 hours a night.
Just when I thought sleep was impossible, the plan in this book proved me wrong. It is a straight forward, simple plan to follow (although not easy, for your little one will certainly be tugging on your heart strings), but in the end it is well worth the incredible results if you stick with it. Now both my son and myself can get the sleep we need.
Don't be deterred by the length of the book. It's a short book, but what sleep deprived parent wants to sift through a long book to find answers? There were a couple things the author didn't address that I wish he would've but I wound up figuring them out for myself (such as if my son is not in his bed, it makes the most sense not to put him back in his bed when I popped in, in order to continue to follow the plan). I am VERY glad that I found this book.
