Good Choice, if you know your History
I was blessed with a highly effective and competent US History teacher my junior year. But i wasnt planning on going into the US History SAT II without some preparation. That is why I bought this book- simply to practice. While displaying a remarkable simarilty to the orginal test, this books' tests were generally more difficult. I labored to crack 770 or 780 on these practice tests but i actually scored an 800 on the actual exam. If you are confident in your US History, buy this book. It is excellent practice. But if you find yourself asking who the president during the civil war was, why Nixon resigned, or who fought in World War II on the US's side, then buy another book, and review your history. Was this review helpful? When I saw some of the questions in the book I wondered why there was such a focus on literature and culture and pre columbian america. When I took the test I then realized why. The book prepares you more for the test and strategies than material, but excellent it helped me. I took AP US History during the year and pulled a 750 on the SAT II test. Great Buy.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
