For all of us who are working towards regime change at home it has been a trying (downright depressing) last couple of years. This book gives me hope. Hope that says any small action I can do could help get Bush out of office. I've been doing activism for many years and this book has opened my mind to the possibilities of creative campaigning that I haven't thought of before. Politics doesn't have to be boring old men in suits behind a podium. Citizens can actually get involved and actively participate in democracy. Great book, I'd recommend it (I'm glad my friend got me an advanced copy!). Very necessary reading in this campaign season. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Finally, a USEFUL Activist's Handbook
I've been politically aware for a long time, but only recently started becoming an activist. 50 Ways to Show George the Door in 2004 was the perfect motivation. The clear and detailed instructions were great, showing me how to really make an impact in getting W out of office. It far surpasses any other activist handbook in the market today and does so with a sense of humor that makes it all the more enjoyable. I really enjoyed how all the ideas were structured for different commitment levels, for everyone with 10 minutes to 10 months to spare. Whatever your commitment level, this is the book for you! The ideas and strategies presented in this book are timeless and can be applied to any situation where anyone wants to make their voice heard. (The Chalk Stamper is my favorite!) Even after the election is over, I know I will still keep this book close at hand. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
