Making it easy to eat healthy

I was skeptical, at best, when I first bought this book. The Doctor said we needed to limit sodium to 600 mg's per meal. In the 4 months since we've been using this book, low sodium hasn't ever felt like a bland or boring lifestyle!

We love the condiment recipes! There's no way you'll ever find a soy sauce this low in sodium at the store. The ingredients are relatively easy to find at CHAIN supermarkets. I have yet to find any ethnic or neighborhood market that carries some of the more obscure ingredients like sodium-free bouillon cubes.

We've begun to gift copies of this great, practical cookbook to our friends and family members. The recipes are easy for anyone to follow (no culinary background required) and the variety is enough to keep even picky eaters happy.

    Can't Live Without It!

After being put on a VERY low sodium diet for Meniere's Disease, I thought I'd never be able to truly cook normal food again -- until I got my hands on this. We have not been disappointed by any of the multitude of recipes we've made. We love the sauces and spice rubs the best! If you need to lower your sodium intake -- and what Americans don't need less salt!! -- this is a must-have book.

Awesome Book for those on Low salt diet and for picky eaters!

I have Meniere's Disease and so was put on a low salt diet, which can be hard to follow as a student (and an admittedly picky eater), but this book has some of my favorite foods in it and is low salt and fairly easy to follow/cook. It also had really good information in the beginning that helped me to understand how to go low salt. I'm telling my mother to get the book for her own health and for when I come home for visits!
