Honestly, I wasn't impressed. It seems like Mr. Patterson picked a bunch of crazy things to throw together with this latest story starring the Womens' Murder Club.

Although the mystery of who killed Michael Campion was interesting, the whole Yuki/Twilly event was just plain stupid.

Overall, another quick read that will only take you a day or so, but it's not as good as the previous books in the series.

This was a good quick read. The book kept my interest, but I feel that the whole Junie Moon/Michael Campion storyline could have been completely excluded. I do love this series and will continue to read the books. However, this one wasn't my favorite.

    Somewhat Decent

The book was ok. There was a lot of suspense and part of the ending was good.

    7th Heaven

"7th Heaven" is another chapter of the Woman's Murder Club, where four women get together and try and solve crimes in San Francisco. As I've mentioned before, I liked Patterson, but when he collaborates with other authors, the books just don't seem to hit their mark. It's like he just puts his name on a book, and doesn't care about the substance of the story.

    Avid fan, but disappointed

I love reading James Patterson, and have eagerly waited for the 7th book in the women's murder series. I was very disappointed in this last installment. It read more like a screenplay and was missing the crucial interaction of the principal women found in his earlier works. Hopefully the 8th book will revert to his previous standards involving this series.

Nice to visit with old friends...

As we know, Patterson is prolific in his writing. I have stopped reading his other works because I tire of the 'romance novel' genre. This is the only series I have consistently read...and enjoyed. It filled the void of take off and landing of a short flight this past weekend. The ending was unsettling...probably because I want life to be fair. Would I recommend this...yes. Would I read it again...no.
