    This works!!

    I was so thrilled to find a balanced program that did not require prepackaged food, calorie counting, or an extremely limited, unbalanced food list. Jorge encourages one to eat reasonable servings of protein, carbs, dairy, vegetables, fats, and treats daily. Bless him, he educated me to servings sizes so I can control my eating for life! I lost 20 lbs from April 23-July, 2006 during a very busy time in my life, with one month of travel at the beginning of the program--and I have kept it off! I ate the food I was used to, so I didn't have to "go off" a diet. The 8-minutes of muscle building each morning is key. Besides toning the body, it helps burn fat throughout the day. I printed out the food portion check list forms and stapled 7 together for a week at a time. Sometimes after returning from a trip I feel a need to use a food portion form for a day or two to get me back on track. It is such a pleasure to have an easy way to control my weight and feel great! I highly recommend 8-Minutes in the Morning for anyone who wants to lose weight and keep it off!

    This book saved my life

    Lost inches off of key places and 11 1/2 lbs in one month of the program without going hungry. It is sensible and covers all the bases. I wish I had read it five years ago. Thank you Jorge!

    Great simple plan with a lot of useful information

    I love books like this that break things down and explain them in a small amount of words. The food information was useful, as was the excercise plan, and the menu samples. A very good book about a sensible and doable plan that will deliver on its guarantee.

    Worth it

    I bought this book out of desperation to lose weight. I, honestly, did not expect it to be better than any other program. I read through the information and although there are some advertisements of the website, this is one program that doesn't try to sell you a vitamin or a pill to lose weight. It is an eating plan that is realistic and works. I am 5 weeks into the program and have lost 17 pounds. You have to be disciplined the first week, but it is easier afterwards. I ran the eating plan by a nutritionist and he stated that the diet was sound. Portions are already broken out for you, so it is like calorie counting, without having to do the counting. If you are tired of being overweight and are ready to make a lifestyle change, you should go to the store and buy a diet scale and this book!

    Weight Loss & Better Health!!

    If you want to lose weight and stay healthy, this is the book for you!! Very few diet books contain information on cutting edge nutritional supplements like flax seed oil and this one does. This amazing supplement actually helps you burn fat faster!! I also highly recommend a new book titled 'The Power of Positive Habits' that shows you how to permanently change your lifestyle and therefore maintain the weight loss forever!!

    This book is good

    afeter trying many many diets. This program, I can't really call it a diet, has helped me a lot to loose weight. Buy it if you are determined to loose weight.

    Logical diet & a bit of exercise is the key!

    Jorge Cruise makes so much sense! I have had enough of the fad and extreme diets. His book is very easy to read and the explanations of how foods and exercise effect one's biology are outstanding. Eating and life shouldn't be so complicated, and Jorge makes it simple and very do-able. I am new to the program, but looking forward to fantastic results. Finally a common sense approach to healthly eating and fitness!
