    BRAVO!!! Finally, a realistic approach to dieting.

    Read an article on this book in Biography Magazine (April 2003 issue). Found the article interesting enough to try out the sample diet and within 2 weeks I lost 4 lbs and my husband lost 8. Very realistic results from a simple to understand, easy to follow diet. We especially liked the idea of including a 'fun food' everyday. Gives you something extra to look forward to. I should also add, my husband is difficult to please when trying to approach him on the subject of a diet. He and I love this diet plan so much that I ordered 2 of Joy's books: 90/10 and The Complete Idiot's Guide... (not to crazy about that title). I recommend these books to all my friends and family. My husband is getting many compliments and that helps him to continue.

    The plan is realistic, easy to follow and long term.

    Wow! What a simple plan that is so easy to follow. I'm about to turn 30 this year and I've never dieted. I've always been able to eat whatever, whenever with no problems. Recently, I have had some thryoid trouble that has added some extra weight that I can't seem to get rid of. So, I looked for some info and inspiration. I found it and lots more. I don't like to read or have time to, however, this book was so easy to read and follow that I couldn't put it down. I haven't finished a whole book in years but I finished this one in less than 2 weeks! Normally, nutrition and diet books are difficult to read and are confusing. This was the best book (of any kind) I've read in a very long time. I highly recommend this book. The plan is realistic, easy to follow and long term. It's all about balance and portion control. Plus, you still get to have goodies!
