Don't waste your time.
A disappointing memoir from one of advertising¿s greats. The book jumps from campaign to campaign, then all of the sudden there¿s a recap of the author¿s childhood, and then we¿re back in the throes of another campaign. It¿s a confusing, exhausting read that¿s not worth your time. Everything in Mary Wells Lawrence¿s world happens in a matter of minutes, and it usually turns out just fantastic. And there¿s little mention of the two daughters she lived apart from during the workweek so she could pursue HER dream. A good editor could have helped this book tremendously.
