Ivy Beecham is and heiress and a librarian. A very unusual combi

Ivy Beecham is and heiress and a librarian. A very unusual combination. Simon Carlton, Viscount Wycombe, knows she works at the London Library and believes she is a fortune-hunter trying to ensnare his nephew. When he approaches her, he finds a beautiful educated spitfire who is not impressed with his title or position. Their war of words fuels an intense physical attraction. They become lovers. Distrust leads Ivy to break off her liaison with Simon. As Ivy seeks solace in the library, a ghostly apparition appears. Will he help these two soul mates find their HEA? Monica Burns writes a wonderful story that is filled with emotion and white hot romance. Ivy and Simon are so perfectly matched. They are intelligent, strong willed and passionate. I loved the ghostly apparition that helped guide Ivy. This is a wonderful way to put you in the holiday mood.

A BLUESTOCKING CHRISTMAS by Monica Burns is an exciting Regency

A BLUESTOCKING CHRISTMAS by Monica Burns is an exciting Regency erotic historical romance set in 1892 England. A Charles Dickens Christmas with a twist. The ghost of Simon, Viscount Wycombe who is not dead visits Ivy Beecham to show her want could happen if she does not surrender to her passion and the greatest gift of all. Filled with passion, childhood memories, lust, romance,a misunderstanding or two, secrets and love. Ivy has concluded her affair with Simon, but is she willing to lose the love of her life over a misunderstanding? The ghost of Simon must show her the error of her way or lose Simon forever. If you want a fast paced, quick Christmas read than "A Bluestocking Christmas" is the read for you. I loved "A Bluestocking Christmas". Ms. Burns captures the Christmas spirit, the Dickens story with a new twist, pulls the reader into her story and leaves you spellbound. A must! Personal buy. Reviewer: Vivi Review Source: Author Blurb: As a young man, Simo

    Review Source: Author
    Blurb:
As a young man, Simon, Viscount Wycombe learned the painful truth that a tradesman's daughter is suitable only for liaisons and nothing more. But Ivy Beecham is a far cry from his preconceived notions, and he's determined to have her. But when she rejects him, it only increases his determination to seduce her into a world of sin and pleasure.
Ivy Beecham knows first-hand that handsome aristocrats like Simon can't be trusted. But the intellectual scoundrel is hellbent on making her his mistress, using every means at his seductive disposal. When she refuses to give away her heart on Christmas Eve, a ghostly specter shows her in one night why her surrender can be the greatest gift of all.
    Vivi’s Review
Blue Stocking Christmas is a delectable holiday treat. Ivy Beecham is an interesting and formidable heroine. She is the daughter of a tradesman, which make her a commoner, even though her mother was from noble blood. Ivy’s perceptions of how she was treated by many in the peerage taints her feelings for all who come from this social class. I loved Ivy’s intelligence and spunk, but her prejudices for the nobles and resentment of her station came to a point where I almost wanted to smack her. But luckily, someone shows her the error of her ways.
Simon is a rake and rogue of the best sort. He’s intelligent, funny, and stubborn. He is determined to have what he want whether it’s good for him of not. Ivy is the one person who throws a wrench into Simon’s world. I love the smart and sexy ways he wooed her. Then, when he realized his true feeling for her, he refuses to let her fears stand in the way of their happiness. Like most men, he had a few stumbles along the way, but he more than makes up for those blunders.
A Blue Stocking Christmas is a steamy romance stamped with holiday cheer. The chemistry between Ivy and Simon is a sultry dance wrapped in a battle of wits. I loved the back and forth and their seduction of words. And when they are in bed, the temperature increases exponentially. Definitely a hot holiday read!
