The book is 36 pages and it talkes about a young girl basically being raised in a boarding school during the late 1930's early 1940's. It was a good short read and it included some black and white pictures.

Having been a child of the war and in contact with several evacuees that were not so lucky as she was. It was interesting and enlightening to read how much different it was for the wealth children, still difficult but not so bad.

    RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY.

I FOUND THIS TO BE VERY INTERESTING. OF A TIME GONE BY, OF HOW SOME OF THE CHILDREN OF WAR WERE HANDLED AND PROVIDED FOR. WELL WRITTEN AND TO THE POINT. I COULD HAVE BEEN SITTING WITH MS. TAYLOR BY A FIREPLACE TAKING IN HER MEMORIES.
