    Lush Solves Puzzles?

Cora Felton may be a hoot, but her alcholism isn't funny. I thought we had gotten beyond laughing at drunks. Let Cora stay unconventional, but sober her up! Intelligent insight isn't a recognized quality of a drunk. The rest of the story was intriguing.

    Move over Miss Marple.

This was really a fun book. I have missed not having any new Miss Marple mysteries to read for years, but that's over now. Cora Felton is quite a character and her slueuthing is top notch, though she doesn't brag and she lets the rather inept police chief take all the credit. I'll be looking forward to the next installment of this series.

    loved it

I'm a true mystery fan and I am reluctant to try a new novelist, but this was a pleasant surprise.

    Love the Puzzle Lady

Cora Felton - aka The Puzzle Lady - appears to be a sweet little old lady that constructs crossword puzzles and lives with her neice. Upon further investigation we find that she also drinks too much, smokes too much, and catches criminals in her spare time... Thanks to the engaging characters and multiple points of view, 'A Clue for the Puzzle Lady' is a highly entertaining mystery. Even readers who normally avoid the 'cozy' category will love the Puzzle Lady books.
