I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book - it was so wonderful! A great Chritmas story as well as a great romance. When two lonely people lean on each other to get through the craziness of the holidays, love is sure to follow. A Fool's Gold Christmas was everything I wanted it to be, happy, heartwarming, even a little sentimental. Yes, I teared up a few times. The story of Evie and Dante is heartwarming and classic. I can't wait to read it again! Fool's Gold has always been my place for Happily Ever After and once again Susan Mallery does not disappoint!

The story itself is heartwarming but im disappointed there is not more story to the enstrangment between Evie and May like it was with Charlie and Dominique. And the romance between Evie and Dante is VERY vanilla and lukewarm. The story is mainly focused on wide rnge of Fool's Gold characters, what happens at Christmas in FG, how the community comes together - more than Evie and Dante. And short - only 170 pages total of the story itself, minus the into, table of contents and 14 pages of an excrept of her other book and I paid $9.99 for 170 pages. Not too happy.

    Enjoyable

I love the Fool's Gold series. I enjoyed this book but it wasn't quite up to par with the others in the series.

    Another good Fool's Gold "episode"

A pleasant light read; characters are enjoyable, a good book with a cup of coffee!

    Highly Recommended

I have really enjoyed Susan Mallery and I love books in a series so I can feel like I get to know the characters. Fool's Gold is every bit as good as Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove or Robyn Carr'a Virgin River series.

    Not my favorite
I wanted to like this one more than I did. The series is a good one but I never really attached to the leads in this one. It is funny because
I was really looking forward to reading the sisters story.  Maybe I just can't take too cynical leads?

All the fun of the series is here and if you like the series you should enjoy the book.
