Good Read

An interesting story about the boyfriend of a young girl's mom who is involved in a murder-suicide. Although the chronology is difficult to follow sometimes, it was a good book. I got the sense that the writings were therapeutic to the author (Rachel Corbett).

Average book

Story of a girl who is trying to cope with the fact that her loving father kills his girlfriend and then himself. Varios characters that are, at times, hard to keep track of.

    a true page-turner

this is much more than your typical true-crime story. it can be just as chilling, but is also deeply personal and poetic. i couldn't put it down.

Very well written, very sad story. I wish it had been longer.

    Great read

Although I could have used a little bit more to the plot, the story told a twisted tale and an unfortunate one. The writer doesn't really give to much about herself in the beginning but it all comes out toward the end. AND it happened in a town about 10 miles from where I live. Creepy but still a good read!

    Not what I expected

I thought it was a novel, but it was just a short story...I just felt misled.
