I really liked this book. I think that Scarlett still could have learned a lot about herself without her so-called 'default bestfriend' Pam's interferance. Pam was nothing more than a pathetic person who only used this 'experiment' as a way to put Scarlett down so that she could boost herself. She knew that Scarlett was a more beautiful person both inside and out, and she did everything that she could to make Scarlett feel inferior. She never cared about how this would affect Scarlett. All she cared about was making Scarlett frumpy so that she could look so much better than she was. In the end she did change her outside appearance, but she was still an ugly human being inside. Pam got what she deserved at the end. She was a real witch to Scarlett who was nothing but ever nice to her. With 'friends' like Pam who needs enemies. Was this review helpful? high-school student review
lauren baratz-logsted is by far my favorite author due to her ability to relate characters to the readers. She is very good at being descriptive and making the characters come to life from the way she puts them through hardships that average people go through. All the other reviews on this page probably have very accurate credibility but mine is from my own experience from reading her books. A little change of face is my favorite because it introduces the theme and characters so well. Overall, I believe Logsted is very good at being descriptive in order to relate her characters and make you feel as though you are a character in the story yourself. A little Change of Face is a page turner Whenever you go to put the book down, whether you have to go to the bathroom or leave for work, something inside you is ambivalent about letting it go.Was this review helpful?
