I just finished this book and I absolutely adored it.  I cried a couple of times and then laughed and laughed until I cried again.  The way Sophie writes makes you feel like you're having a conversation with her.  I passed my book onto my mother-in-law and she had it read in two days and loved it as well.  I've been telling everyone I know that this is a MUST read for the summer.

As an adopted Southerner, I found this glimpse into Sophie's world charmingly sweet and tender, yet undeniably realistic about the moments when life is challenging. Throughout, her faith in Jesus Christ provides a comforting backdrop to the events.and her humor......absolutely delightful!

    Fun and uplifting read

I loved this book. Easy to read stories about faith, family and even food. It did convince me that I should have been born in the south! There are even a few delicious sounding recipes in the back.
