Highly Recommended - you must check it out!

    R. Morris is an excellent storyteller. He takes you on a journey thru Dallas Texas and beyond. I recommend this book. The suspense had me wondering all the way thru.

    A Moment's Touch/Self Eval.

I deem this book a fast-paced read with short chapters, roughly averaging ten to twelve pages in length. In all, A Moment's Touch extends for forty-five chapters covering three hundred and eleven pages. Extreme care was applied to the process of creating the hero and heroine in charge of carrying the storyline. My aim was to construct characters who were well defined and believeable.
The love scenes are politely descriptive and well explored, just enough to bring a blush to the cheeks.
This story vividly alternates between three different plots which by the stories' climax all become one. The path's of a famous singer, a stripper wanting more out of life and a conviceted rapist starving for revenge all erupt from the same flame.
It took me a little over thirteen months to map out my first draft of this manuscript. Initially, I just wrote what played out in my mind, sometimes scribbling illegibly, recording mistakes and all. My first re-write took a little over two months to complete. The second soon followed. My main focus centered on smoothing out my dialogue and giving my characters flesh. The third, forth and fifth re-writes were pulled out of me after a fist-full of rejection letters suggested I spend a little more time honing my craft. From that point on I can't honestly assess how much I tinkered, dragged, dropped and deleted.
Today, I find it amazing that dreams really do come true. After a journey of seven years, I'm living proof.
If any readers are also currently writing, my advice to you is simple:
Finish it. Completion opens the door to going global.
Write from the heart. Even non-readers can spot a sham.
And finally, write what you know and tell the truth to the best of your ability.
If there's any question I can answer as far as the process of finding a publisher goes, I'll be more than happy to tell you all that I know. Feel free to check me out on Yahoo using first my pen name.
My publisher is Inkwater Press, and my editor is Sean Jones. A really nice guy. Please enjoy A Moment's Touch, and above all, remember this:
If I can do it, so can you!
