interesting, but could have been better
The author's knowledge is immense on his subject - so much so that I found some of his logic hard to follow at times, as though I was obviously not in his depth (which I fully admit, I am not). Many parts of his book are interesting studies in how various panics in American history came to be, but his detail is often a bit over the top, and I found myself losing focus a bit too often. However, admittedly, those parts are not in the majority. A good deal of the book is informative and reads very well. It's a good perspective on a little understood part of our financial history, and indicative of how we got where we are.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
