Great book but not that ineresting

This book was okay. I gave this book a three star rating because at time the book would get boring and tiring. Sometimes this book was pretty goog. Not always, but sometime the book would amuse me.

    Not THAT great!!

I had to read this book for an Essay, and it was not very interesting. I'd read a few pages and have to go back and read it again because my mind was wandering! The plot is not very strong, but exhausted and trite including predictable. It seemed as if I knew the whole story without even finishing the book. It took me a long time to finish even though it is only 151 pages. It was okay, but I am disappointed.

    This was an ok book!

This was an 'ok' book. It teaches you great lessons about African-Americans, and what they had to do. I just wouldn't say that this book was my favorite, because I couldn't relate to the book in my own personal life and everything. But I would recommend it to people who don't know about African-Americans and what they had to do. If I was a teacher I might have the kids read it I don't know.

    top of the line book

This book was very educated. It showed life in a book. A person actually lived this. I respect that.

    it was an ok book

the book was interesting in a way i never had a real hard life but to some of my friends it was reality. but then i don't like the way some people become ignorant just to protect their pride. if u lose ur life u wouldn't have any thing to protect
