A Reclusive Heart

Meh

This is the second book I've read by this author and am a bit disappointed that the main female characters are pretty interchangeable. Where are the tough women? They do exist! These mousy things are just seriously annoying. And the main male character? Puh-lease! If any man I know every behaved like that, he would find himself at the curb in nanoseconds.

I'm not a quarter of the way through and have found myself skipping passages because it tends to be a little boring. Too much unacceptable, unrealistic behavior to suit me.

I think I might have to give a pass on any more from this writer, as I'm finding typos, grammatical errors, awkward sentence structure, not enough commas to separate thoughts, etc.

Overall, not really impressed.

Is this author awesome or what? Man i cant wait till i have all her books. MUST HAVE ALL OF THEM. Personal favorite, i love the neighbor from hell series. Im plaining on putting my latest book on here as well. Hopefully somd day ill be as great as this author :D

Book

I was so disappointed. Ater reading a few other books by this author I expected better. 192 pages does not really allow for much character development. Also, one character is an e-book editor. Obviously no one looked over this e-book.

Another great book!!!!

It just keeps getting better and better!! But now I've read them all and I need more!! The stories in all the books are great. I love all the charaters. Just PLEASE keep writing and I will keep reading!!! :-) P.S. - 5 Stars AND 2 Thumbs Up!!!!

Another Excellent Book

I have five words for you "THIS BOOK IS TOTALLY AWESOME"! This book is the second series, be sure to read A Humble Heart first. I have read five of her books so far and have not been disappointed.

This book is about an Author just starting out and her handsome editor. This book really draws you in and makes you fall in love with Jamie and Nick.

Easy and fun to read. You will fall in love with this book. You will be happy you purchased this book.

It has drama, suspence, and heavy heavy hot sex! My cup of tea.....Great story line and this book it one of my favorites..

Get an editor PLEASE!

I haven't gotten very far in this book yet, but the poor grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and diction are making it difficult to continue. And I'm really tired of reading the phrase "little recluse." The plot and characters are pretty much the same as those of the two Neighbor from Hell novels by this author, but I thought those at least had humor on their side. I doubt I'll be reading any more of this author's books.

Good Read

This was a good book except for the fact that Nick kept referring to Jamie as his "little recluse". It would have made the book entirely more enjoyable if this referance weren't used in every other sentence. In my mind I was screaming at him to call her by her name. It wouldn't have othered me if the woman he so called "loved" was referred to as "her" or "she". This distracted me from enjoying this the way it should have been enjoyed. I still recommend reading it though.

Boring

One of her worst. I read at least one book a day and ALWAYS finish them even if they are horrible. I stopped at page 91. Dumbest book ever.

She flicks her ear in acknowledgement to the she wolf but steps a step closer to Rocco. "You did yes and that is admirable. But you better think of something else next time. Death is want for chaos. Not peace. You made pain. Now you fix it. You go there and apologize instead of offering your life. You ask if you can do anything. Then you get your tail over here and fix oir pack. For without you we vare done. We are broken. Now that your back you will hae to work and wok heard. So start with fixing the heart you broke and being a father to the pups who would ve had none. Thn be a leader to the pack wjo was lost. And then I will forgive you." She turned and stalied out.

I really enjoyed this story. It's my favorite kind of story lin

I really enjoyed this story. It's my favorite kind of story line. I would have rather paid more for the book though so that I could be properly edited. At times, I felt like the poor editing distracted me from the great story. Go ahead and buy the book. You will love the story. Just know that it will require a little patience.
