This book immediately grabbed me with emotional intensity of her hero, Blake. The book went deeper on an emotional level than I expected and I couldn't wait to turn the page and read more about her hero. While the sex was scorching, the relationship between the hero and heroine was based on real emotions and not just the physical. For me, this book was a page turner and an emotionally satisfying read!!

While the story itself is fine, it is getting on my very last nerve to see a Naval Officer or a Navy person of any rank called a soldier. The Army has soldiers. The Navy has sailors. The Air Force has Airmen and the Marines are Marines. Seeing NAVY SEALS called soldiers is worse than typos in a supposedly edited book and this seems to be common issue in military romance no matter who the writer is (well, except Merline Lovelace and a few others who've actually served in the Armed Forces). Please re-edit this book and replace soldier with sailor.

Sincerely, an Army Officer

    Mmmm

Blake landon sounds delish. Not the best writing and heavy on sex but a good easy read.

    Pretty good

Enjoyed this book, just hard to get past how fast the "action" happens in short books like this. But the story line and characters were interesting.

    Very good fiction romance.

Really enjoyed this book all 166 pages of romance and suspense! Oh My Gosh, the 6/13/13 ( I think) is unreal, who cares to read such a long review about the mistakes concerning rank, pay scale, & all the acronyms, YUK! Also the person so interested in Seals - Navy, not soldiers, wrong, I lived thru WWII, all of our heros were called SOLDIERS and in the following wars.
Fictional books are to be read & enjoyed why don't you try that, you just might find you being a happier person. I would have given 5 stars if it had an epilogue. GJRA

    Pretty Good!

Fun book! I sometimes wanted to shake the main characters just so they would talk, but all in all a great book!

    enjoyable read!

What I particularly enjoyed about this book was the characterization of the military. It wasn't as cliched as I expected. I like the strong female main character, but I didn't like the climax of the subplot. I thought it didn't feel real. I also didn't think the way the book ended (the last scene) fitted the way the characters had developed to that point.

    Enjoyable

Not finished with it yet but already steamy and entertaining. As for the military inconsistencies previously pointed out, I think they're pretty minute to anyone reading this book. Lol.

    Worth the read!

A little short and sometime seems hurried. Its definitely a sweet romantic book filled with passion. Original in the fact that this women doesn't like a man in uniform. It shows that some rules are supposed to be broken so that we can live.
