I enjoyed the story a lot and felt that it was a good read. Overall the Pros:

The love story and mystery were well thought out.
It was 500+ pages!!
The Cons:
I disliked the main character. She just drags Tristan and Oliver around like puppets and fool them both into thinking they were the one. She said that she loved both of them but i found it insulting how she could date them both at once.
The story was slightly confusing at times and i skimmed some passages because i was not interested at times.
The characters are 18 yet they act a lot older than their age! If you want to write about teenagers at least make the dialogue somewhat realistic.
While i liked the story i feel no pressing need to read further in the series. It was a good book but it was not captivating.
The author claims the 2 and 3 volume are free but they aren't even for sale! I only see the last book of the series for sale. The author should take off that comment because it is obviously not true.
Overall i enjoyed this free romance mystery novel and reccomend it to anyone looking for a sweet romance and mystery novel. The book was well written bur it gets confusing at times. It exceeded my expectations for a free book.

Reads like a diary or newspaper article rather than a novel. Narrative is built as play-by-play directives instead of building descriptors. Characters are shallow and not believable. Dialogue lacks any common vernacular and does not compliment the characters. The plot is just not intriguing enough to carry through these serious writing flaws. Had to quit reading 65% the way through.

This is a below average read.  The story line has been thought out well, but the writing doesn't support it.  It reads like a diary almost in that it describes every movement.  Don't tell me it, work it into the story!

The biggest problem is that the story picked the wrong main character.  I think telling the story from Tristan's eyes would be much more fascinating.  He's 800 years old... there's gotta be something interesting going on.  Instead, the main character is the 19 year old who is whining about not having her car, is kissing on both guys, and charges $200 pieces of artwork to her credit card without even blinking an eye.  Supposedly she tells both guys that she likes them equally, and they are okay with it.  WHO DOES THAT?

In the first couple of pages we got the "little did I know, he would change my life forever" line.  And then it didn't change at all through the whole thing!!  I kept expecting her to get pulled back in time by the waterfall or something.  I was promised something was going to change.  What changed?!  She's still 19, still spoiled rotten... what exactly?  Another problem... he's 800 years old... you're telling us in all that time he's never really left England, never learned more than English and French, has to go to someone else to have Old English translated for him?  Who should be an expert at this more than him?!  So many flaws made this a painful read.

    Not my type

I was really excited to start reading this but when i acutally did it was disappointing. Its 200 pages. Little to no character development. I personally think theres not enogh of oliver in there she spends most of her time with tristan. I likethe plot amd the author could hav really tooken it somewhere but they just didnt. Yea u find out more about tristans past d stuff but thats all. Im 13 and i got really bored. I was literally skipping and skimming to see if there was anythimg intereesting to read. Theresots of grammer mistakes like runon sentances and punctuation. Im usually okay with that kind of stuff but even i was annoyed by it. I wouldnt recommend it even tho it is free.

    Decent but horrible grammar

This story has a decent plot, but the grammar is so horrible that it makes the plot hard to follow. The other issue I had is that the main character is supposedly American but does not speak like an American at all, and neither does her family. Also, I can understand loving two men but that doesn't mean you should be with both of them...

Crap misspelled something in my review--damn it's hard to type on this thing.

How old is this author? Sounds pretty young, but has potential.

I had high hopes for this book since it is my favorite genre. What a huge let down. It suppose to be fantasy, as of page 248 no such luck. So far, just a typical teenage romance. The book may be good if you have no expectations and are ok with just a story about the teen girl and her life. I am not one to complain about grammar errors ( English is my second language), but you are bothered by them, do not open this book.

    ?..

Confusing. I would like to see more romnce with just one guy, not both. This is not a twilight story it should not have a "love triangle" going on! Im so tempted to delete it!! Just choose one and be friends with the other one. Dont be so immature to fall in love with two guys at the same time! If she really loved them why put them through crap because she cant "choose"!
